Paratu Farm's Lake Taupo Bach

Welcome to our delightful Bach at Hatepe, Lake Taupo, only a few minutes walk to the lake! Great for a getaway with friends or family, go for walks by the lake or in the hills, catch a trout, make it your base for the ski season or just simply relax with a book.

Location
Our bach is located in Hatepe, a beautiful secluded spot midway between Taupo & Turangi.
If you are heading south from Taupo, you will come down the Hatepe hill, there is a turn off lane to the right into Hatepe.
Heading north from Turangi, it's the next settlement on the left after Motutere.

Taupo is a 15min drive away, the new Woolworths supermarket is a 10min drive to Wharewaka, towards Taupo.

Bedding arrangements
 The bach will sleep 13, but able to accommodate a couple extras if needed.
  • Bedroom 1 -  Queen
  • Bedroom 2 - Queen
  • Bedroom 3 - Double
  • Den/TV Room (inside house) - Double Pull out sofa bed
  • Bunk room - (outdoors, sleeps 5) Two sets of bunks and one single bed. There is also another floor mattress and a double airbed for overflow.
There is no bathroom outside, but inside there are two toilets and one shower in the main bathroom.

Bring your own linen (sheets and towels)

Booking
  • Bookings will be a minimum of three nights.
  • Cost $300 per night for up to 6 people, then an extra $20 per person per night.
  • Cleaning cost per stay: $100. Please leave the bach tidy.
